Put 32 Midas preamps where the microphones are.
The band is on stage, the mix position is at the back of the hall, and every cable run counts. The DL32 puts 32 Midas-designed mic preamps on the stage. Shielded Cat-5e cable of up to 100 m carries the signals over AES50 to your mixer.
Patch safely while the PA is on
Hold MUTE ALL while you patch cables on XLR inputs 1 to 32. It mutes all inputs, so you can connect and disconnect with the PA system still on. Its red light turns off shortly after you let go, and the inputs are active again. PHANTOM LEDs show each channel with 48 V engaged.

Personal monitors and digital outputs
The ULTRANET port sends AES50 channels 33 to 48 to a Behringer P16 personal monitoring system. One shielded CAT5 cable carries them. ADAT OUT sends channels 17 to 32 to external equipment over optical cable. The AES/EBU outputs send channels 13/14 and 15/16 to devices with digital inputs.

Connect the console and more stage boxes
Connect the clock master, typically the digital mixer, to AES50 port A, and additional stage boxes to port B. MIDI IN and OUT carry MIDI to and from an M32 console. XLR outputs 1 to 16 provide signals 1 to 16 of AES50 port A. Networked I/O latency is 1.1 ms.
