DL16

16-in, 8-out digital stagebox with Midas-designed preamps, AES50 networking and Ultranet personal monitoring

Where to buy DL16 (0606-ACJ)

Swap the heavy multicore for one Ethernet cable.

Every input on stage has to reach the mix position, and every send has to come back. The DL16 carries all audio and MIDI data to an M32 at front of house over a single Ethernet cable. Its 16 Midas-designed XLR inputs are fully programmable and remote-controllable from the M32.

Add inputs, not cable runs

Cascade up to 3 DL16 units for maximum channel count. You get 48 bidirectional audio channels at 24-bit / 48 kHz. All of them travel on just one CAT5 line between front of house and stage.

Every musician sets their own mix

The Ultranet output sends 16 channels to the P16 personal monitoring system over Ethernet cable. Each musician can dial in their own mix from the stage. Eight balanced XLR outputs feed mains and monitoring.

Without an M32, still a snake

Link two DL16 units and they send 16 channels to and from the stage, for use with an analogue mixer. The unit at front of house, set to SN MASTER, controls the preamps on stage. For recording, one DL16 in SPLITTER mode sends its 16 inputs via ADAT to an interface or an ADAT card.
